SCOTTY LAGO SIGN'S NEW CONTRACT WITH FLOW
FLOW SNOWBOARDING is pleased to announce that Twenty One year old FRENDS Crew Member Scotty Lago from Seabrook, New Hampshire has signed a new contract with FLOW SNOWBOARDING. We are very happy that Scotty will continue his loyalty to the Board, Boot, Binding brand of FLOW SNOWBOARDING.
Scotty has been snowboarding since 1996, part of the Flow Family since 2003 and is mainly known for his amazing performances in several world wide events and videos. In the winter of 2008-2009 at The Winter X-Games 13 he placed Second in Slopestyle and First Place Vermont Boston

HOOD REPORT....WITH SCOTTY AND FRENDS
LAGO IS UP AT HOOD WITH THE FRENDS CREW....Scotty and the FRENDS crew are up at Mt Hood, Oregon for High Cascades Summer Camp Signature Session. Scotty tells me that he has been having a blast being on the snow and it's great to be back. He and the FRENDS crew have been staying in Govy (Government Camp), eating at home instead of going out to eat and putting back cold ones at the Ratskeller. His foot feels fine and his road to recovery is well on the way. Scotty says that the Summer of '09 at Hood rules with the new tow rope, the great weather they've had, mad kids, ton of friends/frends, sunburn and no herpes.

ASHLEY THORTONS ICELAND ADVENTURE
Iceland trip with Nikita
Here’s a story about winning a trip to Iceland through Nikita Clothing.
At the beginning of the last winter season Nikita launched the Snowboard Clip Contest.
On offer for the winner was an all-expenses paid trip to Iceland. And the lucky girl was Ashley Thornton from the USA. So at the end of May Ashley flew over to Reykjavik to meet with the crew at Nikita HQ.
Here is Ashley’s story about the experience;
“So I got a call from my good friend Kari. She had seen that Nikita Clothing was doing a video contest on their web page. She said “Ashley you have to send your video into Nikita, you could win a trip to Iceland.” So I checked it out and noticed I had one day until the deadline to turn it in. I got a hold of my videographer and told him the situation. He was super busy at the time filming with pro skiers in town and said he would do what he could to put my footage together. The day it was due I was leaving town. The videographer was not going to be around that day so I had to have my dad pick the footage up out of Pete’s mail box. My dad then sent it in for me. I got my video turned in just in time. The following morning I checked my emails and I was the winner of the trip! I couldn’t quite believe it. I called Pete, my friend and filmer, and gave him the good news. He thought that I was kidding, because we had just got the video done the night before.
I was waiting very excitedly for the next month to go by for the trip. I had no idea what to expect. I had never been out of North America before and have always wanted to.
Nikita just want to say a big thanks to all the girls who took part in the contest!
FISH FRIDAY......
Our Rep Don Bergeson up in Minnesota gave me these pics from a few years back, taken up North of Minneapolis on Rainy Lake. The fish his friend caught is a 44inch Northern Pike but while reeling it in another fish just thought it would go for a trip on to the boat with it's hommie. A 56 inch, 55 pound Northern Pike, talk about killing two birds with one stone......

NORTH WEST LIVING: with Ashley & Forrest
Ashley Thorton and Forrest Devore are a snowboard couple who both grew up in the beautiful state of Oregon and are keeping it as grass roots as you can . Living in Bend Oregon on the Westside of town (the best place to live in Bend), they have a quick 20 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor where they shred the most. The both of them blow glass for a living, work hard and snowboard even harder. Living their lives to have fun and for one mission.... happiness. 
Ashley was born and raised in Bend Or. and has been riding for Flow for Four and a half years now. 
Forrest has been on Flow for Two years and grew up in Eugene and that town is known for glass blowing. 
Forrest displays his Glass Blowing techniques the trade he learned when he was 16 years old. He has been glass blowing for 12 years. He taught Ashley how to blow glass 2 years ago.

FISH FRIDAY.......
OUR FIRST FISH FRIDAY PICTURE IS OF FLOWMALIA MEMBER MEG BURKE WITH HER FIRST FISH CATCH EVER... A STOCKY RAINBOW TROUT . She had never been fishing before, and thought she was just going to get some sun and hang out in the boat at Convict Lake just outside of Mammoth California. Meg saw how easy it was and figured she would give it a try.... first cast she caught one. She was pretty excited, but felt realy bad that she had killed it. They ended up taking them home and having trout for dinner. All around a pretty fun experience.

Proven or not, such a large fish lives at great depths and is rarely seen near the surface.
Earthquakes are common in Taiwan which lies on a seismically active stretch of the Pacific basin.
A similar catch of the same species was reported in October last year but was a mere three-and-a-half meters long.

I myself dig both Jay and Conan but it just wont be the same seeing Conan on the tube earlier in the night and to top it off on the Tonight Show. The Tonight show has had only three hosts in the history since airing. And on the Late Night Show.... if ya ask me Jimmy Fallon stinks as a host, he's better at reading scrips.

SARKA PANCOCHOVA- TTR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
PODIUMS ARE A CHUDES (CHICK THAT RIDES LIKE A DUDE) BEST FRIEND...GET USED TO IT SARKAAs some of you recall me sayin Sarka (Sharka) Pancochova a name to remember in a write up back in February, well Flow is stoked to know she is the TTR Rookie of the year. Sarka is an up and coming rider who stands out like no other. With backside rodeos and front sevens this girl proves big things come in little packages. She's only weighs about a buck twenty (120 us pounds), stands at 5'3/162cm but came in 8th in THE WORLD rankings infront of Chanelle Sladics. At one point of the year our snow Shark(a) was in second place right behind TTR points winner Jamie Anderson. Unfortunately for her though she broke her colar bone at the end of the season throwing Back Rodeos at Mammoth. Nice job in 2008-2009 Sarka were proud of you, good luck heeling (use Arnica) and we'll see ya this fall!!

The Unbound Crew at Mammoth just opened this sick big ass Super Pipe up at Mid Mountain and some fun jumps n jibs below it. Don't forget Main Park still has some features also. Mammoth closes June 14th you should try to get up there!
Oh yeah I dislocated my finger with a slight fracture, nice lookin eh?
Every Memorial Day weekend Chair 2 in Mammoth has kegs of beer, BBQ's and this guy named Micheal Lisk with his man made ski factory on wheels at the Mill parking lot. Very interesting.....
